At MTM, we take an interactive, hands-on approach to options coaching. Our options coaching programs are tailored to your background and your objectives as an option trader. MTM offers two options coaching programs:

Alpha Coaching – This is Beginner, But NOT Basic Options Coaching. It’s for traders who need to master the basics of option trading, and build upon that knowledge.

Omega Coaching – This is Advanced, Personalized Options Coaching. It’s for experienced option traders who want to take their trading to the next level.

In our first session together, we’ll go over the results and, together, decide which path is right for you.

Alpha Coaching – Beginner, But NOT Basic Options Coaching Program

Been trading less than a year but with poor results? Developed some bad trading habits? Need to round out your foundation of options knowledge? Then this course is for you. We call it “Alpha Coaching – Beginner, But NOT Basic Options Coaching Program”.

The Alpha Coaching Program covers the fundamental building blocks of successful options trading. It is a structured course, with the flexibility to advance at a pace that is right for you.

The basic outline to success for Alpha traders is:

Week 1 – Finding out about you and setting your goals and expectations: What type of trader are you? What kind of trader do you want to become? And, how will we get you there?

Week 2 – Fundamentals of options: what they are and how to use them effectively. This will not be just your typical nuts and bolts training.

Week 3 – Advanced option basics: how we can use calls and puts in the most cost and risk efficient way and really increase your portfolio’s net worth.

Week 4 – Call options: including buying, selling, debit spreads and credit spreads. And not just knowing about them; but also knowing when is the best time to use a particular strategy.

Week 5 – Put options: including buying, selling, debit spreads and credit spreads. Also how to use puts for protection and when a put maybe better than a call.

Week 6 – Time to look for some examples of trades: including help with trade execution and chart reading. Traders take these two things for granted but it’s not always as easy as it seems.

Week 7 – More trading path guidance: can’t have enough practice on this. For the more advanced traders we’ll discuss more complicated spread like strangles, straddles, condors and butterflies.

Week 8 – Trade management: how this is so imperative to your ultimate success as a trader and coming up with (and sticking to) a trading plan.

Week 9 – All about you: any questions or review of any topics you would like to go over.

 

Omega Coaching – Advanced, Personalized Options Coaching

With the advanced coaching, you will skip over what you already know and build on your background, ensuring that you make the best use of your time (and money). We believe that our advanced options coaching is the best way to ramp our students up to speed as fast as possible. Listening to the student’s wants and needs and designing their custom options course prepares our students produces results.

Also, all sessions are one-on-one. There is no "peanut galley" listening in, so your options coach can focus on you without any distractions, and you can feel comfortable in a private session.
